BB Beauty Business ("BB") is an online marketplace connecting ACPF-certified beauty professionals ("Merchants") with clients seeking beauty services. BB is not a beauty service provider — we provide the technology platform only. All beauty services are provided by independent Merchants.
Merchant accounts are exclusively for active ACPF (Association of Certified Professional Beauticians) members. By registering as a Merchant, you confirm that your ACPF membership is current and valid. BB reserves the right to suspend accounts if ACPF membership lapses.
BB charges a 7% platform commission on each completed booking. Merchants receive 93% of each booking fee. Payouts are processed automatically every Monday to the merchant's registered Malaysian bank account via Billplz. BB is not responsible for payout delays caused by incorrect bank details provided by merchants.
Clients may cancel bookings subject to the merchant's cancellation policy. Deposits paid at booking time are non-refundable unless the merchant cancels. Merchants who cancel confirmed bookings without reasonable cause may have their BB Score reduced and account reviewed. Repeat no-shows by clients may result in booking restrictions.
Payments are processed securely via Billplz (FPX) and Stripe. BB does not store full payment card numbers. All transactions are subject to Billplz and Stripe's terms and conditions. In the event of a payment dispute, BB will assist with reasonable investigation but cannot guarantee refunds for services already rendered.
Merchants must: provide accurate service descriptions and pricing; maintain valid ACPF membership; honour confirmed bookings; respond to booking requests within 24 hours; not conduct transactions outside the BB platform with clients acquired through BB (for the first 12 months of the relationship).
Client reviews are moderated and must be based on genuine booking experiences. BB Score is calculated algorithmically from ratings, completion rate, response speed, repeat clients, and profile completeness. Merchants may not offer incentives for positive reviews. Fraudulent reviews from either party will result in account suspension.
You may not: misrepresent your qualifications or services; use BB to collect client contacts and redirect bookings off-platform; create multiple accounts to manipulate BB Score; post false or misleading reviews; use BB for any illegal or harmful purpose.
The BB platform, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by BB Beauty Business Sdn Bhd. Merchants retain ownership of their own photos and content but grant BB a licence to display this content on the platform.
BB is not liable for: the quality or outcome of beauty services provided by Merchants; losses arising from cancelled bookings; damages exceeding the amount of fees paid to BB in the preceding 3 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury, or death caused by negligence.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. Disputes of RM 5,000 or below may be referred to Malaysia's Tribunal for Consumer Claims.
