BB Beauty Business ("BB", "we", "us") is a Malaysian-registered company operating the BB Beauty Business platform — a booking and discovery marketplace for ACPF-certified beauty professionals and their clients. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
We collect: contact information (name, email, phone number) you provide when registering; profile information (business name, location, profile photo, bio) provided by beauty professionals; booking details including service, date, time, and booking history; payment information — we do not store full card numbers; bank account details for merchant payouts (last 4 digits only displayed); usage data including pages visited, searches, and booking patterns; device information including IP address and browser type.
Your data is used to: operate and improve the BB platform; facilitate bookings between clients and beauty professionals; process payments and send payouts to merchants via Billplz; send booking confirmations, reminders, and notifications you have opted into; display your professional profile to potential clients; calculate your BB Score and performance insights; comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Malaysian law.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: payment processors (Billplz) to process transactions and payouts; email delivery services (Resend) to send transactional emails; cloud infrastructure providers (Supabase, Vercel) under data processing agreements; ACPF, for membership verification of registered professionals; law enforcement or regulatory authorities when legally required.
We retain your account data while your account is active. Booking records are kept for 7 years for accounting and tax compliance. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
